    People are very friendly. Drinks are really reasonably priced and they often have good live music. Definitely worth checking out if you visit this cool mountain town!

    Love this place! A great combo of a locals bar and, well, us  Seriously Shaggy and Cassie take excellent care of everyone! And they don't serve food but Mountain High Pies delivers directly to the bar. Seriously?? This place is awesome!!

    My boyfriend and I stayed in Leadville last night and searched Yelp (and town) for where to watch the Michigan State game. After driving by a couple of places that claim to be sports bars with very limited TVs we saw The Scarlet.

    My bar scene is usually more of a dive-bar... because I'd rather just relax, drink beer, and watch football... so this was right up my alley! For those of you who like a selection of CO Craft... this is a good place to stop in. They had a few products I haven't seen on draft much which was nice!

    The crowd was also friendly last night and had suggestions of where to (and where not to) eat dinner since the Scarlet doesn't serve food BUT you can order pizza and if we hadn't had pizza the previous night, we would have ordered right there!

    Stopped here when we were staying in town camping over the weekend. We met the owner, Lee, and he was very fun and nice to talk with! We had ordered pizza down the street and were waiting for it to be done when Lee told us we could eat it there since they don't serve food. We brought our pizza back to eat and had more drinks. We played some pool and had a good time. Will definitely be back next time in Leadville!

    Love this place. Great selection of drinks and beers. Tim is attentive and quick behind the bar. The place ist clean and has great live music. Played some pool last time I went, too. Good hang
